Since 2023, I've handled the graphic design, branding, and marketing direction for LRG3, Limited Run's yearly press conference and parody of E3.
This includes live-posting about the event and reveals as they happen, building trending topics in the lead up to the event's launch, and post-show reporting that allows us to track how many millions of fans have seen each show we put on.
LRG3 2023
In 2023, we put together one of our most popular and creative shows yet: Josh would time travel back to the original E3 in 1995 in an effort to save the show's currently dire prospects in 2023. Unfortunately, his plot didn't succeed in our real world, but Gex still delighted the bewildered crowd who had never seen the games revealed in his trailers.
My concept, as I described it to my coworkers, was "Your dad found PowerPoint in 1995, what does he do with it?"
Well, it turns out your dad really likes WordArt and stock photography.​​​​​​​ This approach allowed me to make fun of some of our... questionable... design decisions 30 years ago, while also helping to build an era-appropriate press conference to match.
